Craft Haven Retreats is going to attend the Chrysalis Community Center 3rd Annual Ladies Spring Fling event this year on Saturday, April 6, 2013. For today's cards, Sunshine Trio, my inspiration came from my favorite stamp from the Single Assortment # 4 - Sunshine! You Are My Sunshine was always a favorite bedtime song when my kids were young, and now I sing it to my grandchildren. So when Stampin' Up! released this new single stamp, I knew I just had to have it! I choose one of my favorite color combinations to work with, Whisper White, Basic Grey and Daffodil Delight. So sunny and cheerful, perfect for this set of cards!

We wanted to create a few Valentines with a masculine flair! Nanci and I had both pinned this awesome card on Pinterest by Rita Wright and I really wanted to make it (click here to see her original card!).
I love Pinterest, you can always find the cards you love and where your inspiration came from! :) We also had seen a quilted heart card that we both loved, so I made one to coordinate with our macho valentine.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that this card was also inspired by Rita Wright (click here to see her original card)! Thanks Rita for your inspiration! Both cards use Nearly Navy, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Naturuals Ivory cards stock in addition to Fan Fair DSP. Follow us on Pinterest - just click on our Follow Me on Pinterest buttons! Today's Valentine's Day cards feature a clean, crisp look using a Soft Suede and Midnight Muse color combination. Quick hearts were cut from Comfort Cafe DSP using the Hearts Collection Framelits. A little paper piercing, and a few quick accents made these Valentine's Day cards come together in no time!All of today's cards use Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede CS, Comfort Cafe DSP, and Soft Suede and Midnight Muse ink.

With Valentine's Day upon us, Love is in the air! And, what better time of year for card making. With Stampin' Up!'s newest stamp sets, Designer Series Paper and embellishments, Valentine's Day card making couldn't be easier. From romantic to whimsical, there's something for everyone! This week at Craft Haven Retreats we'll be sharing with you some of our favorite Valentine's Day creations.
Today's card series feature some of the beautiful embellishments from the Artisan Embellishments Kit found the the Spring Catalog. This wonderful kits come with gorgeous lace in 3 designs, seam binding, lacy doilies, paper flowers, buttons, resin flowers, and designer ticket stubs and tags! When paired with Crumb Cake and Primrose Petals, this kit is perfect for a romantic style.
For all of today's cards we used Natural Ivory and Crumb Cake card stock, Primrose Petals and Crumb Cake inks, elements from the Artisan Embellishments Kit, and a touch of Print Poetry designer series paper.

In partnership with Google Catalogs, Stampin' Up! is thrilled to announce its first tablet-friendly catalog! It's interactive, it's easy--and it's now available for iPad and Android tablets in the US.
- Sign in using your Google or Gmail account. If you don't have a Google account, you can create one by tapping the Sign Up button in the app.
- After you have signed in, search for Stampin' Up! in the Select Favorite Catalogs list.
- Select Stampin' Up! by tapping the small stamp icon next to the name, then tap Done.
- Click the "Favorites" icon at the bottom of the app, then tap the Stampin' Up! catalog cover to open it. That's it!
Cool Features:- Browse the catalog with ease on your tablet.
